Excessive stretching can ruin a workout.

My wife and I started a new workout regime.  It includes yoga as one of the components.  I have never tried yoga before.

It shows.

It really, really shows.


I wasn’t graceful.  I wasn’t smooth.  I wasn’t strong.

I just looked like I was experiencing severe motor control issues.



  1. You’ll love it though! For those of us with anxiety issues, it’s by far the best exercise we can do. No matter what Tim gets me to try for exercise, I always go back to yoga. 🙂 (well except maybe dance central on the kinect. If you want to be entertained, watch him dance!)

    • I don’t love it yet, but we’ll see…
      Please tell Tim that there is never a good reason for a man to dance. Ever.

  2. I totally agree with the above comment. So good for everything, from anxiety to insomnia! Keep going and you will improve rapidly!

    • I hope so, because I honestly couldn’t do any worse. Round two tomorrow.

  4. yoga makes me wanna eat better too since it makes me feel like my organs are bad or something.

    • I’m not really sure what this means, but it made me laugh quite a bit. 🙂
