The surprise party proved a bit too successful.

April 11, 2012

I looked exactly like this when my wife told me she was pregnant last week.

Well, not exactly.

…I have shorter hair.

I should probably add that I was smiling too (this pregnancy was completely unexpected – but not unwanted).

The eyeball thing is still pretty accurate, though.

  1. wawww very nice

  2. cheer up!

    • I’ve gotten so used to drawing the same frowning face that I forget how depressed he looks. I’m not unhappy about another baby, I was just very, very, very, very surprised.

      • That is good to hear.Baby will be a blessing in your life. You will have so many enjoyable years. I had 6 children and everyone of them I thank God for.One piece of advice that I always told my children,”always enjoy your childhood you only live it once.” Sometimes you will feel like a kid again too.Congratulations!

        • This will be our third and yes, they have been very enjoyable years (except for the whole sleep deprivation thing).

  3. Congratulations!

  4. Aw congrats Aaron! Tell your wife congrats too! Crossing my fingers for a boy this time! Although you already know how to do the girl thing and you do it well. 🙂

    • Thanks Kari. I know it sounds cliche, but as long as we have a healthy baby I’m not worried about gender. I’ll call you guys soon and chat!

  5. Congratulations and good luck!!!

  6. Awww, congrats!!!

    • Thank you! It really is good news.

  7. Congratulations!!! Good luck with everything!

    • Thanks! It is a good thing – just a little (or a lot) surprising.
